Faye is a therapeutic sound practitioner who combines live instruments with supportive guidance to promote relief and recovery from the physical, mental, and emotional stressors of life. With years of experience and training in restorative sound and mindfulness practices, she offers sessions designed to support nervous system regulation, enhance resilience, and nurture embodied connection.

Faye is a practitioner member of the International Sound Therapy Association (ISTA) and holds the Professional Level Mindfulness Teacher (CMT-P) certification from the International Mindfulness Teachers Association (IMTA). She received training in sound therapy from the Institute of Traditional Medicine (ITM) and is certified in mindfulness teaching through the Lab of Meditation’s 200-hour teacher training program.

Faye’s 60-minute, personalized therapeutic sound session is designed to support nervous system balance and renewal. It is especially beneficial for individuals coping with burnout, recovering from stress, experiencing significant life changes or transitions, or seeking to deepen resiliency through self-connection and attunement.

What to Expect: The 60-minute session begins with a collaborative intake and intention-setting, then transitions into a 45-minute immersive sound experience with singing bowls and other resonant instruments. Supportive guided meditation and breathwork prompts are integrated throughout, and the session closes with time for debriefing and reflection.

What this session is not: While this practice is trauma-informed, it is not meant to serve as counselling or coaching. Instead, it provides a mindful, restorative experience that supports a holistic approach to healing and wellness. It acts as a complementary therapy and can benefit those currently engaged in psychedelic integration, somatic experiencing, Internal Family Systems (IFS), or other trauma recovery methods.

The Benefits of Sound Research across neuroscience, psychophysiology, and mindfulness practices suggests that sound-based therapeutic experiences can:

• Support nervous system regulation by helping shift the body from stress states into calmer, more restorative ones.

• Reduce physical and mental tension, promoting ease, softness, and down-regulation in the body.

• Encourage emotional balance by gently supporting the settling and integration of overwhelming or activated states.

• Increase heart rate variability (HRV), an indicator of parasympathetic (rest-and-restore) activation and resilience.

• Invite meditative and restorative states through slow rhythms and sustained tonal vibration that support alpha–theta brainwave activity.

• Enhance interoceptive awareness, the ability to feel and respond to internal signals of safety, rest, and connection.

• Strengthen self-regulation over time, especially when experienced as an ongoing practice rather than a one-time intervention.
